Investor Education Gateway

Welcome to the GFSA Investor Education Gateway — a central resource offering insights into the online investor education initiatives of various GFSA members, along with details on GFSA-hosted events, reports, and presentations related to financial education.

GFSA places strong emphasis on advancing investor education and has led the coordination of World Investor Week (WIW) since 2017. Typically held during the first week of October, WIW is a global initiative designed to raise awareness about investor protection and financial literacy. The campaign showcases the efforts of financial market regulators and other key stakeholders working in these areas.

Throughout WIW, GFSA members conduct a broad range of activities within their respective jurisdictions. These include the release of new educational tools or publications, hosting of competitions, and organizing seminars, conferences, and outreach events. Many authorities also use WIW as a launchpad to expand investor education efforts throughout the rest of the year.
